The workshop enabled UCA staff to identify and discuss challenges of incorporating internationalisation into their courses’ curricula as well as develop strategies to encourage the development of cross-cultural competencies amongst both international and home students as well as academics.
Three key aims of the workshop:
1. identify and discuss challenges of incorporating internationalisation
2. think of strategies to encourage the development of cross-cultural competencies amongst students/staff
3. develop a common understanding of UCA’s internationalisation goals and different practitioners’ roles in achieving them
4. generate and share ideas and good practice/ find solutions
