Description/Abstract:
ARG was an installation by Arcadia Missa, featuring the works of 10 artists and designers. Via works within the installation, conversations were raised on some key contradictions that are facing creative endeavours. These include environmentally divisive design, continued discourse on representation (and re-representation) in artistic medias and arts funding. The exhibition assessed how and on what terms a work of art can function, not only by looking at the notion of the ‘art object’, but also the environment, or parameters, that works may sit within.
