Systems of visibility, rating, and social validation shape identity through comparison, performance, and external judgment. We translate these pressures into a board game organised around three interdependent resources: Core Energy, Professional Network, and Public Visibility, with a supplementary p5.js narrative layer that voices the client's internal experience alongside the visible game state. Using research through design, we developed the prototype and evaluated it through a qualitative formative study of eight participants combining observational playtesting, questionnaires, and interviews. We contribute a design case that turns sociological accounts of discipline, self-presentation, and unstable identity into rules, trade-offs, and feedback loops, together with evidence that players readily grasp and reproduce the game's optimisation logic, while reflection on subjective cost lands less evenly and leans on the narrative layer, which deepens it for some players and stays easy to bypass for others. These findings locate the current strength of the board game and the reflective work that the next stage of the study takes up.
