This tutorial aims to introduce students to the research process, highlighting the importance of research for practice-based students. As a basic introduction, the tutorial covers areas such as mind mapping, keyword construction, primary and secondary research and planning. Although focusing on the wider research context (e.g. sketchbooks and museum and gallery visits), its primary focus is library research.
