An ambitious book that examines the varied and vital relationship between graphic design and health, accompanying a major national London-based exhibition. Mark was invited to write a short chapter (pp 57-61) as a guest contributor, in response to the question posed by the book’s title, alongside a range of designers, design writers and health professionals such as Kenya Hara (Muji), Experimental Jetset, Henrik Kubel, Abram Games, FHK Henrion, & Tibor Kalman, whose answers give valuable insight into the design process. Can Graphic Design Save Your Life? was published to coincide with the opening of the exhibition of the same name at Wellcome Collection, London – a museum that explores the connections between medicine, life and art.
Book accompanying an exhibition at the Wellcome Collection, London, 7 September 2017 – 14 January 2018.
