Webster was the only UK invited artist together with one artist from Japan and one from the USA to attend the 4th Eskisehir International Glass Symposium.
Eskisehir is a city in Anatolia, Turkey that is most famous for its extraordinary commitment to the development of international glass art collaboration and development.
The symposium is in its fourth year and is funded by the city and recognised as the premier international glass symposium in Turkey. The symposium was also supported by the University of Anadolou, Eskisehir and the city Governor.
Two glass works of art were donated by each artist to the permanent collection of the City of Eskisehir Glass Museum and all three invited artists collaborated on a piece as a ‘gift of peace’ for the city.
