Description/Abstract:

I was first awarded a grant by the Theo Moorman Trust for Weavers in 2012. This grant was to contribute towards a specific research project which brings together both my Fashion ‘Garment Making & Construction’ and Textiles ‘Cloth Construction’ knowledge into exploring loom woven garments. Garments woven completely on a loom. In March 2016 I was awarded another grant by The Theo Moorman Trust to contribute towards the purchase of a new loom. Purchasing a new loom will give my the opportunity to develop and explore more complicated works. This is an on-going project.
