In this chapter Jean Wainwright recounts her journey to 'find' Andy Warhol's voice which began in 1999. During her research she has had unprecedented access to over 3,600 tape recordings that Warhol made with his 'wife', as he called his tape recorder. These recordings were made from 1964 until his death in 1987 and are stored in Pittsburg.
