The article examines the life and work of the potter and ceramic sculptor Morag MacInnes. Particular focus is given to her series of ceramic dog sculptures, which she began after retiring from a career in teaching. Additional topics discussed include her studies in art history and insights on how her work has been influenced by African ceramics and graphic art.
