Description/Abstract:

Jason Dee’s installation '24 Times' was part of a large-scale international exhibition: 'The Still Point of the Turning World: Between Film and Photography' at FOMU in Antwerp. The show ran for four months and included numerous highly significant current and historic international practitioners in the fields of photography and cinema. These included: Jeff Wall, Hiroshi Sugimoto, John Stezaker, Paul Graham, John Smith and David Claerbout.

The exhibition was accompanied by a 216-page bi-lingual catalogue (Dutch and English), published by Kehrer Verlag. This was designed by Lieven van Speybroeck and included essays by co-curators of the show David Campany and Joachim Naudts.

There were two talks relating to the show, one between David Campany and David Claerbout, and another on the final day of the show between Joachim Naudts and Jason Dee.
