The author of 'Controlling flow' aims to argue that in the realm of global capitalism there is 'administration' of time-space through logistics: namely the practical, material realization of control and order. As a means to investigate how the logistical ordering and management of time-space works, the author briefly considers the organization of shipping container movements through the time-space of London Thamesport in Kent, Uk.
