Description/Abstract:

The UCL Pathology Collection is housed in the Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead, and is predominantly used by researchers and students, and holds more than 7,000 specimens of fluid-preserved human remains displayed in jars on shelves. Working with the designers, Mark developed four life-size colour-coded figures laser-cut from Formica, stationed at the entrance. This graphic display acted as a key element of the navigation system guiding users around the collection’s contents.
