Description/Abstract:

An animated documentary commissioned by Dover Arts Development as part of Dover Museums and Art Galleries (DMAG): Joined Up, a project providing opportunities for Artists and Museums to work together. The focus was the Western Heights in Dover, managed by the Western Heights Preservation Society, a Napoleonic fort opposite Dover Castle. A barracks in World War One, housing and training many thousands of soldiers on their way to France. The film is based on an account from a soldier based at the fort and his experience in the early stage of the war.
