Description/Abstract:

Many of the photographic self-portraiture shown here contain overt references to medical objects, but re-presented to the viewer as an art object.

Primarily concerned with the AIDS/HIV body, this research investigates representations of ill health, identity and subjectivity.

The image 'Listening to myself: closed' was used for the month of November in the Calendar: European Photographic Competition One Vision.(2002).

Images on the station platforms, Callerton Parkway and Kingston Park, are Metro stations in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North East of England.

There is one image of the front cover of Langford's Basic Photography.
