Description/Abstract:

Aare / Gurten DCCCLVIII is a 12" Vinyl release of two tracks produced for Schläfli; a research output from Hidden Sound / Lost Language which is a digital sonic project combining audio & live performance exploring the sounds of Bern, Switzerland. This project unearths a personal connection to the Swiss German dialect of Bernese, of my mother’s origin - investigated through field recordings to create unique, eerie and joyous soundscapes.
