Description/Abstract:
I am not Tongue-Tied was a performance lecture and piece of protest art in response to the institutional bureaucracy which led to the cancellation of my planned Reflection on Digestion performance dinner as part of the ALL Showtime! event at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge on 17 October 2015.
I am not Tongue-Tied was performed in a lecture theatre on Anglia Ruskin University’s Cambridge campus and consisted of a 10-minute voice recording of a talk and accompanying PowerPoint slides, and the carving, serving and consumption of ox tongue and gerkins by the audience.
