Description/Abstract: | This project is a careful response to the process of 3D scanning the semi-derelict Garrison Fort on the Isle of Sheppy and incorporates a large scale inhabitable installation combing built work and film, supported by flat works. This was a project developing the live build agenda for the Interior Architecture and Design Stage Two syllabus, and represented an opportunity for the students to work in collaboration with the staff in the department and wider school and make output collaboratively and individually which responds to a particular site in Kent. The piece utilised the 3D scanner as an important resource in the Architecture Department and is a brief we are encouraging in both Interior Architecture, MA Architecture and MA Interior Design. |
