Description/Abstract:
Thirteen pieces of Ellen's Nita Project were selected and exhibited in Four Corners Gallery, London, for the Open Call 2014 exhibition of 'Uncertain States'.
Ellen Nolan's work was selected by Guardian magazine photography writer Sean O’Hagan to appear in the exhibition, with a commissioned essay about her work written by Sean O’Hagan.
The ‘Nita Project’ was selected along with 8 other artists' works to represent new British photography in 2014, through an open call with a prestigious photography panel that included Sean O’Hagan, Zelda Cheatle and Melanie Manchot.
