Description/Abstract:

This project looked into contemporary urban activism, ways in which communities, especially the youth, can organise and run services in their local area. It was a fusion between academic enquiry and 'live' project. It resulted in the production of films made by two artist/skateboarders, Baptiste Hossin and Thomas Langley, which focused on their journeys through a variety of different landscapes. These films were also complemented by work produced by a Margate based film maker Hazeleigh Prebble.
