Description/Abstract: | Fiona Watt was one of six international lead artists for Six Acts, a site-specific intervention in the centre of Prague for Scenofest at the Prague Quadrennial, working with a group of international emerging artists and students on a cross-disciplinary project between performance, visual art, architecture, and scenography. Fiona Watt was lead artist for Act 6: Wayfinding. Wayfinding was the performative interaction that linked the five other acts taking place across the centre of Prague. The concept of the Sixth Act came from the 'six degrees of separation' as a starting point, and explored the things that join us together through the graphic language of signposting and tourism and the ephemera of the everyday. The project was built as an online research forum for six months prior to its realisation in Prague. |
