Description/Abstract:

Using the digestive system as a metaphor for how we gain and process knowledge, this paper presentation reports on a self-reflective study which merges autobiographical and fictional narrative and phenomenological methods to explore the narrative of how the body and the personal infiltrates the professional self as artist and educator.
