Petrey, Grant (2014) Dark Flow. [Animation, Exhibition/show]
Creators: | Petrey, Grant |

Description/Abstract: | Dark Flow utilises an entropic process of production to explore a process material transformation and energy transfer. Temporality and materiality are central to the film. A sizable amount of fine charcoal dust was produced during the making of the initial 2D animation, as a "waste" material. The material quality of this byproduct of "spent matter" was seductive and it eventually became part of the film. |
