Kathy Kubicki conducted an in depth audio recorded interview with Shirin Neshat in her New York studio which lasted over an hour. The interview included discussion of previous installation and photographic practice, and recent cinema film work. Discussion included the narrative structures of her film work, political aspects regarding Iran, exile, feminist art practice, and Iranian women's position in the new and previous political regimes.
