Artist pages generated from video of the same title for journal themed around ideas of provocation. In this work, Francis Summers looks at the status of provocation in relation to the recent UK protests against education funding cuts. These pages would address the challenges at hand in the work of refusal. This work wants to avoid controversy whilst seeking to provoke debate, thought and fidelity to the resistance to an ideological prliticisation of the economy which aims to further enclose all collective and common activity.

This artist's project aims to address questions of provocation, both in terms of the provocaion of an economic policy of austerity and in terms of provoking thought and debate through a thoughtful juxtaposition of text and image.
