Nicky Hamlyn has filmed 4 of Angela Allen's paintings in which he tried to define an isomorphic relationship between the camera and its pro-filmic. The body of work is diverse, ranging from landscape to interiors to this project, which involves filming a set of paintings. The grid form of the picture determines the form of the film.
