Description/Abstract:
As a potter-gardener, Jonathan Garratt has developed his own unique approach to ceramics. Garratt creates wood-fired earthenware pots for the garden as well as for the home. His items of domestic tableware sit alongside more eccentrically formed small bowls that use a rich palette of color. Garratt has also embraced African symbolism and has added the marks and scorings of African craft to his own pots.
