Description/Abstract: | Chat Moss is the record of an art/geography collaboration that explores the representation of landscape as a place of history and as a place of experience. This book documents the mian work of the project, the creation of a 40 sq. m. ceiling painting by Derek Hampson along with a number of texts that anlyse landscape and its representations from the perspecitves of painting, geography and phenomenology. This publication records the work of 'Representations of Embodiment: Implications for Fine Art and Geographical Information Science' and art and geography collaboration. |
